Product Introduction

Product Overview

Amino Acid Chelated Ca-Mg Liquid (for fertigation/drip irrigation) is a highly efficient liquid fertilizer of chelated medium elements. The product is a clear liquid with uniform color, total amino acids (AA) ≥ 400g/L, free amino acids ≥ 200g/L, calcium + magnesium ≥ 40g/L, pH 6-8, specific gravity 1.22-1.24. Using amino acid chelation technology, calcium and magnesium exist in amino acid chelated form, directly absorbable by crops with absorption rate far higher than ordinary inorganic medium element fertilizers.

Core advantages

  • Calcium and Magnesium SupplementCalcium + Magnesium ≥ 40 g/L, supplies two key secondary elements in a single application
  • High Amino Acid ContentTotal AA ≥ 400g/L, free AA ≥ 200g/L, providing crops with rich organic nutrition while improving crop stress resistance
  • Amino Acid Chelation ProcessCalcium and magnesium exist in amino acid chelated form, with good stability and not easily fixed by soil
  • High Absorption and Utilization RateAmino acids directly participate in crop metabolism, with Ca and Mg absorption rates 3–5 times higher than those of common inorganic fertilizers.
  • Fully Water-SolubleClear liquid, dissolves quickly, no sediment or residue, suitable for all irrigation systems
  • Prevent nutrient deficiencyEffectively prevents cracking, bitter pit, blossom end rot, leaf roll, yellowing and other calcium/magnesium deficiency symptoms

Application Guide

Drip Irrigation Application (Recommended)

Fully water-soluble formula, ideal for protected agriculture and precision fertilization; amino acid chelated secondary nutrients can be absorbed directly by crops.

  • Application rate: 5 — 10 kg/mu/time
  • Dilution Ratio: 1:200 — 1:500
  • Frequency: every 10–15 days
  • Note: Can be used together with water-soluble macroelement fertilizers

Foliar Spray / Drip Irrigation

Apply via fertigation with irrigation water, suitable for supplementing secondary nutrients in fruit trees, vegetables, and other cash crops.

  • Usage: 10–20 kg/acre/application
  • Dilution Ratio: 1:100 — 1:200
  • Time: key crop growth stages
  • Note: Better results with small, frequent applications

Foliar Spray

Quickly replenishes calcium and magnesium, corrects deficiency symptoms, especially suitable for fruit development and flowering/fruiting stages.

  • Dilution Ratio: 1:800 — 1:1500
  • Application rate: 30 — 60 L/mu
  • Time: early morning or evening, avoid high heat
  • Note: For best results, spray 2-3 times during fruit development

Water-soluble fertilizer compounding

Use together with macronutrient water-soluble fertilizer as a source of secondary nutrients for balanced nutrition.

  • Use with water-soluble NPK fertilizers
  • Addition ratio: 3 — 8%
  • Suitable for melons, vegetables, and fruit trees
  • Can be used alone or with other amino acid products

Applicable crops and recommended dosage

Crop Type Representative Crops Drip irrigation dosage Foliar Spray Dosage Application Period
Fruit Trees Apple, pear, peach, grape, citrus 3 — 5 kg/mu 1000 — 2000 times dilution Young fruit stage, expansion stage, post-harvest
Vegetables Tomato, Cucumber, Pepper, Eggplant 2 – 4 kg/mu 1000–1500 times dilution Seedling, Flowering, Fruiting stages
Melons and fruits Watermelon, Melon, Strawberry 2 – 4 kg/mu 1000–1500 times dilution Vine extension stage, flowering stage, expansion stage
Oil Crops Rapeseed, Peanut, Soybean 2 — 3 kg/mu 1000–1500 times dilution Flowering and Podding Stage
Root & Tuber Crops Potato, Carrot, Sugar Beet 2 — 3 kg/mu 1000–1500 times dilution Tuber formation and enlargement stages
Application Notes
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use promptly after opening.
  • Boron dosage should be carefully controlled to avoid boron toxicity from overuse.
  • Can be mixed with most fertilizers and pesticides, but a small-scale test is recommended before use.
  • For foliar application, it is recommended to test on a small area first to confirm no phytotoxicity before large-scale use.
  • Before drip irrigation, filter the solution to prevent impurities from clogging drippers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Calcium and magnesium have a close synergistic relationship within plants:

  • Mutual Absorption EnhancementMagnesium promotes calcium absorption and transport; magnesium deficiency affects calcium uptake.
  • Participates in Chlorophyll Synthesis TogetherMagnesium is a core component of chlorophyll, while calcium stabilizes cell wall structure; both work together to boost photosynthesis.
  • Prevent Comprehensive Nutrient DeficiencyBoth calcium and magnesium deficiencies affect crop growth; supplementing both can prevent physiological disorders such as fruit cracking, bitter pit, little leaf, and yellowing.
  • Improves Fruit QualityCombined calcium and magnesium supplementation significantly improves fruit firmness, storage life, and appearance quality.

Therefore, supplementing calcium and magnesium together is far more efficient than supplementing them separately.

The main difference lies in the chelation process and nutrient form:

  • Common Calcium/Magnesium FertilizerExisting in inorganic salt form (such as calcium nitrate, magnesium sulfate, etc.), crops need to convert it into absorbable form, with low absorption rate, and prone to precipitation fixation with phosphate in soil.
  • Calcium Magnesium Fertigation FertilizerExisting in amino acid chelated form, calcium and magnesium are "encapsulated" by amino acid molecules, with good stability, not easily fixed by soil, crops can directly absorb, with absorption rate up to 3-5 times that of ordinary inorganic fertilizers.

At the same time, amino acids themselves are organic nitrogen sources directly available to crops, significantly enhancing stress resistance and quality.

The timing of calcium and boron supplementation should be based on the crop growth cycle and nutrient needs:

  • Flowering PeriodPromotes pollen germination and fertilization, improving fruit set rate
  • Young fruit stagePromote young fruit cell division and development, laying a foundation for fruit enlargement
  • Fruit expansion stagePromotes rapid fruit enlargement, prevents cracking and malformation
  • After harvestReplenish tree nutrients, restore vigor, and prepare for next year's flower bud differentiation

Apply preventively before critical calcium and boron demand periods; prevention is better than cure.

Store in original sealed packaging in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. Shelf life:24 months. Storage precautions:

  • Avoid direct sunlight and humid environments
  • Prevent package damage from contact with sharp objects
  • Avoid mixing with strong oxidizers, strong acids, or strong alkalis

Use promptly after opening; reseal unused product for storage.
