Product Description
Disodium EDTA Manganese is a highly efficient EDTA-chelated manganese fertilizer. Product is a light pink crystalline powder, chelated manganese content 12.5%-13.5%, pH (1% solution) 6.0-7.0, water insoluble matter ≤0.1%. Using EDTA chelation process, manganese exists as EDTA chelate, directly absorbable by crops with much higher absorption rate than ordinary inorganic manganese fertilizers.

Application Guide
Drip Irrigation Application
Fully water-soluble formula, especially suitable for facility agriculture and precision fertilization, EDTA chelated manganese is directly absorbable by crops.
- Concentration: 0.5—2 g/L irrigation water
- Application rate: 0.5—2 kg/mu/time
- Frequency: every 10–15 days
Foliar Spray
Quickly replenishes manganese to correct deficiency, ideal for fruit trees and vegetables.
- Dilution ratio: 1:1000–1:2000
- Application rate: 30–60 L/mu
- Time: morning or evening, avoid high temperatures
Foliar & Drip Irrigation
Apply through irrigation water for manganese supplementation in fruit trees, vegetables, and other cash crops.
- Usage: 1–3 kg/mu/time
- Dilution ratio: 1:100—1:200
- Timing: during critical growth stages of crops
Water-soluble fertilizer compounding
Use as a manganese source with water-soluble fertilizers for balanced nutrition.
- Use in combination with water-soluble macro-element fertilizers
- Addition Ratio: 1–5%
- Suitable for melons, vegetables, and fruit trees
Applicable Crops & Recommended Dosage
| Crop Type | Representative Crops | Drip Irrigation Dosage | Foliar spray dosage | Application period |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fruit Trees | Apples, pears, peaches, grapes, citrus | 1 — 2 kg/mu | 2000 times | Germination stage, flowering stage, young fruit stage |
| Vegetables | Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, leafy greens | 5 — 1.5 kg/mu | 1500 times | Seedling stage, flowering stage, fruiting stage |
| Field Crops | Wheat, corn, rice, soybeans | 5 - 1 kg/mu | 1500 times | Tillering stage, jointing stage |
| Cash Crops | Tea, Tobacco, Cotton | 1 — 2 kg/mu | 2000 times | Vigorous Growth Period |
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; use soon after opening.
- For foliar application, conduct a small-scale test first to confirm no phytotoxicity before large-scale use.
- Can be mixed with most fertilizers and pesticides, but a small-scale test is recommended before use.
- Before drip irrigation, filter the solution to prevent impurities from clogging the drippers.
- Control manganese dosage to avoid overdose and manganese toxicity.
FAQ
Typical symptoms of manganese deficiency in crops include:
- Leaf ChlorosisInterveinal chlorosis on new leaves with green veins, creating a net-like pattern.
- Growth retardationStunted growth, plants are dwarfed
- Poor Fruit DevelopmentFruit becomes smaller, quality declines
Commonly found in soils with high pH (calcareous soils), low organic matter content, or fields with heavy lime application.
- Manganese SulfateExisting as inorganic salts, crops need to convert them into absorbable forms, resulting in lower absorption rates and prone to precipitation and fixation with phosphate in soil.
- EDTA Chelated ManganeseExisting as EDTA chelate, manganese is "wrapped" by EDTA molecules, offering good stability and resistance to soil fixation, directly absorbable by crops with much higher absorption rate than ordinary inorganic manganese fertilizers.
EDTA chelated manganese is especially suitable for use in high-pH soils and drip irrigation systems.
The timing of manganese supplementation should be based on crop growth stages and nutrient needs.
- Seedling StagePromotes healthy seedling growth
- Tillering/Elongation StagePromotes tillering and stem growth
- Flowering and Fruiting PeriodPromotes flower bud differentiation and fruit development
Apply before key manganese-demand stages for crops; prevention is better than cure.
Store in sealed original packaging in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place; shelf life is24 MonthsStorage precautions:
- Avoid direct sunlight and humid environments
- Avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent package damage
Use promptly after opening; reseal unused product for storage.
