Product description
Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid Dipotassium Zinc (EDTA ZnK2) is a highly efficient EDTA chelated zinc fertilizer. White powder, chelated zinc content 14.0%-15.0%, pH 4.0-8.0. Using EDTA chelation technology, zinc exists in EDTA chelated form, directly absorbable by crops, with absorption rate far higher than ordinary inorganic zinc fertilizers.
Product features
- High chelated zinc content: Zn 14.0%-15.0%
- EDTA chelation processGood stability, not easily fixed by soil
- Potassium-Containing FormulaAlso replenishes potassium
- Fully Water SolubleDissolves rapidly, no sediment or residue
- pH stability1% solution pH 4.0-8.0
Application Areas
Agricultural nutrients, fertilizers
Application Guide
Drip irrigation (recommended)
Fully water-soluble formula, especially suitable for facility agriculture and precision fertilization, EDTA chelated zinc can be directly absorbed by crops.
- Concentration: 0.5 — 2 g/L irrigation water
- Application rate: 0.5 — 2 kg/mu/time
- Frequency: once every 10–15 days
Foliar spray
Quickly replenishes zinc, corrects zinc deficiency, ideal for fruit trees and vegetables.
- Dilution ratio: 1:1000 — 1:2000
- Application rate: 30–60 L/mu
- Time: Morning or evening, avoid high temperatures
Topdressing
Apply through irrigation for fruit trees, vegetables, and other cash crops to supplement zinc.
- Dosage: 1–3 kg/mu/time
- Dilution ratio: 1:100 — 1:200
- Time: Key growth period of crops
Water-Soluble Fertilizer Compounding
Use as a zinc source in combination with water-soluble NPK fertilizers for balanced nutrition.
- Use with water-soluble macro-element fertilizers
- Addition ratio: 1 — 5%
- Suitable for melons, vegetables, and fruit trees
Applicable crops and recommended dosage
| Crop Type | Representative Crops | Drip Irrigation Dosage | Foliar spray dosage | Application period |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fruit Trees | Apples, pears, peaches, grapes, citrus | 1 — 2 kg/mu | 1000 — 2000 times dilution | Germination stage, flowering stage, young fruit stage |
| Vegetables | Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, and leafy greens. | 5–1.5 kg/mu | 1000 — 1500 times dilution | Seedling stage, flowering stage, fruiting stage |
| Field Crops | Wheat, corn, rice, soybeans | 5 — 1 kg/mu | 1000 — 1500 times dilution | Tillering Stage, Jointing Stage |
- Store in a sealed, dry, ventilated, and cool warehouse.
- For foliar application, it is recommended to conduct a small-area test first to confirm no phytotoxicity before large-scale use.
- Can be mixed with most fertilizers and pesticides, but a small-area test is recommended before use.
- Filter solution before drip irrigation to prevent nozzle clogging.
- Zinc dosage must be controlled to avoid zinc toxicity.
FAQ
Typical symptoms of zinc deficiency in crops include:
- Little Leaf DiseaseNew leaves become smaller, leaves cluster
- Albino SeedlingInterveinal chlorosis turning leaves white
- Growth retardationDwarf plants, shortened internodes
- Poor fruit developmentFruit becomes smaller, quality declines
Commonly found in high pH soils (calcareous soils), soils with low organic matter content, or fields with heavy lime application.
The main difference lies in the chelated form and nutrient composition.
- Common zinc fertilizerPresent as inorganic salt (e.g., zinc sulfate), lower absorption rate.
- EDTA ZnK2Existing in EDTA chelated form, zinc is "wrapped" by EDTA molecules, offering good stability, not easily fixed by soil, directly absorbable by crops.
- Potassium-Containing FormulaAlso supplies potassium, ideal for fruit development and potassium-demanding crops.
Store in a sealed, dry, well-ventilated, and cool warehouse. Shelf life is maintained under original sealed packaging.24 monthsStorage precautions:
- Avoid direct sunlight and humid environments
- Avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent package damage.
Use promptly after opening; reseal unused product for storage.
