Product description

Ethylenediaminetetraacetate zinc-sodium (EDTA ZnNa2) is a highly effective EDTA chelated zinc fertilizer. The product is a white powder with chelated zinc content 14.5%-15.5%, pH value 6.0-7.0, water-insoluble substances ≤0.1%. Uses EDTA chelation technology, zinc is in EDTA chelate form, allowing crops to directly absorb and utilize it, with absorption rate significantly higher than conventional inorganic zinc fertilizers.

Product Features

  • High chelated zinc content: Zn 14.5%-15.5%
  • EDTA chelation technologyGood stability, not easily fixed by soil
  • Fully water-solubleDissolves Quickly, No Sediment or Residue
  • Low impurity contentWater-Insoluble Residue ≤0.1%
  • pH stabilitypH of 1% Aqueous Solution 6.0–7.0

Area of application

Nutrient elements and fertilizers for agriculture

Application recommendations

Application via drip irrigation (recommended)

Fully water-soluble formula, ideal for protected cultivation and precision agriculture, EDTA-chelated zinc is directly absorbed by plants.

  • Concentration: 0.5 – 2 g/L irrigation water
  • Application rate: 0.5–2 kg/mu/application
  • Frequency: once every 10–15 days

Foliar spray

Rapidly replenishes zinc deficiency and eliminates its symptoms; especially suitable for fruit trees and vegetables.

  • Dilution ratio: 1:1000–1:2000
  • Application rate: 30–60 L/mu
  • Timing: morning or evening, avoiding high temperatures

Application with irrigation water

Applied with irrigation water, suitable for zinc supplementation of fruit trees, vegetables, and other crops.

  • Dosage: 1–3 kg/mu per application
  • Dilution factor: 1:100–1:200
  • Timing: Critical growth stages of agricultural crops

Mixing water-soluble fertilizers

Used as a source of zinc in combination with water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers for balanced nutrition.

  • Apply together with water-soluble macronutrient fertilizers
  • Add in Proportion: 1–5%
  • Suitable for melons, vegetables, and fruit trees

Suitable crops and recommended dosages

Crop Type Typical crops Rate for drip irrigation Application rate for foliar feeding Application Period
Fruit Trees Apples, pears, peaches, grapes, citrus 1 – 2 kg/mu 1000-2000 times Period of germination, flowering, young fruit formation.
Vegetables Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, leafy vegetables 0.5–1.5 kg/mu 1000 – 1500 times Seedling stage, flowering stage, fruiting stage
Field Crops Wheat, corn, rice, soybean 0.5 – 1 kg/mu 1000 – 1500 times Tillering stage, stem elongation stage
Precautions for Application
  • Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, protect from direct sunlight, stack carefully.
  • For foliar application, it is recommended to first conduct a trial on a small area, ensure no phytotoxicity before large-scale use.
  • Compatible with most fertilizers and pesticides, but a small-scale compatibility test is recommended before application.
  • Before use in drip irrigation, it is recommended to filter the solution to prevent clogging of drippers.
  • Zinc dosage should be controlled to avoid excess and zinc toxicity.

Frequently asked questions

Typical symptoms of zinc deficiency in crops include:

  • Small LeavesNew leaves become smaller, rosette formation observed
  • Albino SeedlingChlorosis and Bleaching Between Leaf Veins
  • Growth RetardationSlow growth, shortened internodes
  • Poor fruit developmentFruits shrink, quality deteriorates

Often found in soils with high pH (calcareous soils), soils with low organic matter content, or fields with intensive lime application.

The main difference lies in the chelation process and nutrient form:

  • Regular Zinc SulfateBeing in inorganic salt form, crops need to convert it into absorbable form; uptake efficiency is low, and it easily forms precipitates and is fixed by phosphate ions and other components in soil.
  • EDTA Zinc ChelateIn EDTA chelate form, zinc is 'encapsulated' in the EDTA molecule, offering good stability, not easily fixed by soil; crops can directly absorb and utilize it, with absorption significantly higher than common inorganic zinc fertilizers.

Zinc chelated with EDTA, especially suitable for use in high pH soils and drip irrigation systems.

Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, protect from direct sunlight. Shelf life in original sealed packaging is24 monthsStorage Precautions:

  • Store away from direct sunlight, stack neatly, handle with care.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent damage to packaging

After opening the packaging, the product should be used as soon as possible, and the unused part should be tightly sealed for storage.
